Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to pay a community levy?

A: No. All the public areas and open spaces are maintained at no cost to the residents.

Q: Are these properties strata title and what do I have to pay?

A: Nearly all properties at Newleaf are Torrens title - freehold. The only Strata title properties will be the apartments, that will have the benefit of a very cost efficient levy.

Q: Who looks after the community homes?

A: The properties will be managed and maintained by Newleaf Communities. Tenancy & facilities management will be looked after by St George Community Housing (a not-for-profit organisation) and The Spotless Group respectively – these companies are part of the Newleaf Communities consortium.

Q: How do I buy a Newleaf home?

A: Newleaf is sold off the plan and buying a new home couldn’t be easier.

BUY YOUR HOME IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS.

  1. Put down a 10% deposit and nothing more
  2. Watch your new home being built
  3. Pay the balance when your home is complete and move in

This simple, three-step payment plan means

  • There are no progress payments
  • You pay less interest
  • You don’t have to deal with builders or contractors
  • You only pay the balance when your house is ready to occupy, complete with driveway, fencing turf and landscaping.
  • There are no progress payments, and off-the-plan purchasers currently pay absolutely no stamp duty.

Q: Can I choose where my home is located?

A: Newleaf is a master-planned estate. Therefore, all the homes are in a predetermined location.

Q: What does my home come with?

A: Your home comes complete with all internal finishes, carpets and garage together with fencing, turf, landscaping, driveway, clothesline and much more.
